The White Horse, Bradford on Tone, Somerset
This 16th century inn stands right in the middle of Bradford on Tone and it serves as quite a hub of the community with live music and events throughout the year. It’s run by a very friendly family and the bar retains that traditional pub charm where dogs are welcome. There’s a roomy restaurant and a separate area for bigger groups, and out the back there’s a beer garden. Food is very good pub grub and British favourites made with local ingredients as much as possible – Elston Farm Venison Burger with Stilton, Steak & Ale Pie with a Suet Crust, and Pyne’s Faggots. Vegetarians are well looked after with Root vegetable & Pistachio Nut Roast.
