Do we need to bring our own drinks for your private bars?

Usually, yes, though in some cases you can liaise with the owner to arrange kegs of beer to be installed ready for your arrival. Think about what you might need (spirits, syrups, mixers, ice, decorations) and order it to be delivered when you arrive.

Can we hire bartenders for a holiday house with a private bar?

Yes you can! We work with trusted suppliers who can bring a bartender or mixologist experience to your holiday house. Each property has an Extras page where you’ll find information like this so you can contact the supplier direct.

Is glassware supplied?

Yes, our holiday homes with private bars have plenty of glasses for all kinds of drinks. If the bar is outdoors, as at Bluewater near Bath and Bristol, there will be plastic ‘glasses’ for safety - .

Are there any limitations on using private bars?

The general rule is to be sensible – don’t overdo it (no-one likes a sore head the next morning!). Most of our properties have noise restrictions which mean you’ll need to keep things quiet after 11pm (some a little earlier). This forms part of the Terms & Conditions so must be adhered to.
