So we aim to make sure that there’s plenty to keep you smiling inside so even if it’s blowing a hoolie out there it won’t matter. You’ll all be warm and snug indoors, enjoying fabulous features like indoor spa halls with pool, hot tubs and saunas, cinema or movie rooms, and games rooms.

Who doesn’t love a games room? It’s so much fun to get together and thrash out a few rounds of table tennis, to relax over a game of pool before dinner, or to battle it over air hockey and table football. Whip up some friendly competition with a games tournament, give prizes to the winners, if there’s a mini kitchen or a fridge in the room, get the snacks in so you don’t even have to go to the main kitchen for refreshments.

The kids love it, the grown ups love it, so a holiday house with a games room is always a winner.

Is there seating in the games rooms for spectators?

Again, this varies, but most have a sofa and armchairs.

Do the games rooms have consoles and TVs?

There’s nearly always a TV in the games room. Some have a games console or the capability for one if guests want to bring their own.

Are there facilities for snacks in the games rooms?

Some of our properties have mini kitchens in the games rooms. This may not include cooking facilities but there will be a fridge, sink and worktop space, so it’s great for snacks.
