Sampford View - Somerset

Sampford View is a large country house tucked away in the countryside close to the borders of Somerset and Devon. There’s snooze space for 17 in 7 bedrooms, an outdoor heated pool (start of Easter holidays to end of October half term), indoor swim spa, sauna, games room, children’s play area and tennis court. It’s a lovely place to stay for big family holidays, peaceful celebrations, sophisticated hen weekends and self-catering corporate breaks throughout the year. Inside is light and airy with wonderful period features, outside are vast sweeping lawns surrounded by mature trees, plenty of space for outdoor activities and for children to run around and play.

The house is close to the small town of Wellington, and is easily reached from the M5 (J26) and the A38. Tiverton is only a 20 minute drive - convenient for trains from London Paddington, with a journey time of less than 3 hours. Close by you’ll find plenty to see and do – award-winning family attractions, outdoor pursuits, golf courses, walks and welcoming country pubs. The beautiful beaches of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site can be reached in less than an hour for days by the sea.
